Note: This guide is for compounded or lyophilized (freeze-dried powder) medications only. Brand-name pens (Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, Zepbound) come pre-mixed and ready to inject — no reconstitution needed.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Gather Your Supplies
Peptide vial
10 mg lyophilized powder
BAC water
Bacteriostatic water
Mixing syringe
1 mL (100 unit) syringe
Alcohol swabs
For cleaning vial tops
Injection syringe
Insulin syringe for dosing
Sharps container
For safe needle disposal
Use a 1 mL syringe to draw BAC water:
Draw to 200 units = 2 mL
Clean Vial Tops
Draw 2 mL of BAC Water
Add Water to Peptide Vial
Mix Gently
Draw Your Dose
Storage After Mixing
- 🧊 Store reconstituted vial in the refrigerator (36-46°F / 2-8°C)
- 🚫 Do NOT freeze reconstituted solution
- 📅 Use within 28 days of mixing
- 💡 Keep away from direct light
- 📝 Write the reconstitution date on the vial with a marker
